We went to Castlepoint which is in Waiwarapa - around 2 hours away and very distinctive landscape. We rented a batch there for two days, did some hiking and surfing and beach walking. Wide open skies, lots of surf and apparently small daisies that grow only at this particular beach area in the whole wide world.
