South Island 04/09 Hanmer Springs

After three days in Kaikoura we head inland through the mountains to Hanmer Springs. After a few hours of mountain roads we tumble out and into the 12 thermal pools with temperatures between 33-42 degrees and the aroma of sulpher. It is a cold fall day so we scamper between pools.
