South Island Wine Tasting Waipara Valley
We spent three idyllic days here nestled in the vines of The Old Glenmark Vicarage, sampling all the wine both from this vineyard and Pegasus Bay (great Reisling), Glenmark, Mud House, and Toulesse. 
Here is one of the infamous 'vineyard' dogs asleep on the job. Apparently he can tell when the grapes have just the right amount of sugar and should be harvested.
